Community First Responders

Posted in Notices

We have had the following sent to us. This is an opportunity to help make a real difference here in our own community.

"Are any of you good people interested in becoming Community First Responders?
North Elmham only has 2 in the area at the moment which means there are often times when emergency cover is very stretched. The Parish Council and several other interested people are keen to encourage more volunteers to help out. If you want to know a little more about what is involved please ring Colin Smith on 668585, Ann Keeble on 668216 or contact the Community First Responders local team leader Richard Townsend on 07715 865156 or This email address is being protected from spambots. One Ed's note: This is how my son became a qualified Paramedic. He started volunteering as a responder in Watton for one evening a week, became interested, resigned his job and applied to be a paramedic. Two daughters later he finished his studies and became qualified.
