SCHOOL NEWS - April 2013

Posted in School

This half term has passed in a flash....probably something to do with the fact it was only 4 ½ weeks long! The children have shared a day with our Federation Partner.
Our youngest children visited Bawdeswell and the Key Stage 2 students from Bawdeswell visited us at North Elmham. Both schools enjoyed a buffet lunch with each other and the staff. The main event at North Elmham was the Easter Story with activities laid on by Kids Klub from Dereham – Thank you to them for their support.
At Bawdeswell friendship bracelets were made and exchanged.
By the time you read this our Year 5 & 6 children will have been on the bi-annual residential trip to Hilltop......we hope the weather was kind to them but I am sure nothing would have dampened their enthusiasm for the adventures they are sure to have had.
Earlier in the half term we had a delightful service at the Church to celebrate Mothers' Day with many mums joining us so we could say "Thank You". The end of term will culminate in an Easter Service also at the Church with parents invited to come along and worship with us.
During this half term we have been visited by an inspector from the Norwich Diocese to check our Church School status ...and we are pleased to confirm that we have achieved a positive outcome.
We break up for Easter on Wednesday 27th March 2013 and return on Monday 15th April 2013.
Happy Easter!
