SCHOOL NEWS - Dec 2015

Posted in School

We seem to be speeding through this Autumn Term, with our thoughts now turning to Christmas the children are gearing up for their Nativity plays, Parties and Talent Shows!

Please can we remind parents that should the worse happen and we need to close the school due to bad weather (hopefully not!) an announcement will be made on local radio and also details will be available on the Norfolk Schools Website

The children (and some staff!) became superheroes for the day to help raise money for Children in Need. As we send this to print we are still awaiting a final amount raised but parents will be notified by text.  Thank you to them (and the children) for all their support.

Our lovely Friends of North Elmham School continue to raise money for “extras” that the children can enjoy, with cakes being sold to the children after school on a Friday (now that it is too cold for the traditional ice creams!). They are extremely popular and we thank them for all the time and effort that they put in to continue this and all their other fundraising activities.

On 1st December we are having a visit from Purple Dreams, a travelling theatre group, that are to perform Jack & The Beanstalk for the whole school.

The children are also taking part in the Christmas Experience put on by Kidz Klub on 9th December so that they can appreciate the real meaning of Christmas.

The children will be having their Christmas Lunch on Thursday 17th December.

We break for Christmas on Friday 18th December 2015 and return in the New Year on Tuesday 5th January 2016.
